Another person has been killed in the protracted land dispute between the people of Alavanyo and Nkonya in the Volta Region on Friday.
The 43-year-old man met his death around 3pm at Alavanyo after he had stepped out to attend to a project.
His death adds to three the number of persons who have been killed in May in spite of the tight security in the area.
It will be recalled that earlier this month, a 15-year-old boy Prince Ankutse was shot dead. A middle-aged woman was also killed by some unknown persons recently.
Many have attributed the recent deaths in the area to the conflict between the Alavanyo and Nkonya communities over land.
Residents in Alavanyo are furious about the death of the death of the man but have ruled out reprisal attack.
