The late Major Maxwell Mahama’s Thanksgiving Service was held on Sunday, at the Lighthouse Chapel International, Qodesh in North-Kaneshie, Accra. The service was presided over by Bishop Eddie Fabin, who in his sermon comforted the family, asking them to look to God for the peace and joy that will certainly find them again. He also encouraged the family to remain strong and steadfast during their difficult period, as the promises of God will be fulfilled in their lives.
Among the dignitaries in attendance at the service were the Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo, the Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul, Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Obed Akwa, and the General Commanding Officer (GCO) of the Southern Command of the Ghana Armed Forces, Brigadier General Thomas Oppong Peprah.
