A total of 1,250 security personnel are to be deployed in Cape Coast to maintain law and order while providing maximum security during the national delegates’ congress of the New Patriotic Party.
Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP Rev. Nenyi Ampah Benin, who announced this Thursday at a news conference, said the officers are from the Ghana Police, Prisons Service, Immigration Service and Fire Service among other security agencies.
