Mrs. Jane Harriet Akweley Quay, a trial judge at Accra Circuit Court, has warned Comedienne and Television personality, Afia Schwarznegger, and ex-husband Lawrence Abrokwah, to desist from talking to their media about their marriage blues, until a final determination of the case pending before the court.
Both, on Monday, appeared before the court, after police prosecutors charged Abrokwah on five counts of domestic violence with emotional, verbal and psychological abuse, publication of obscene material, assault and threat of harm.
Counsel for the accused, Maurice Ampaw, prayed the court to grant his client bail, indicating that he will not abscond expressing his readiness to abide by directives of the court.
The trial judge obliged to the request and granted him bail in the sum of GH¢20,000 with three sureties.
Abrokwah is facing five charges, including domestic violence with emotional, verbal and psychological abuse,.The case has been adjourned to October 11, 2017.
Afia Schwarznegger, earlier this month, was captured in a video that went viral with another man in bed when her husband pounced on them. The man only identified as Joe in the two minutes, twenty-three seconds fled the bedroom in only black boxer shorts as though he was on a relay without a baton.
Prior to his escape from the grips of Abrokwah, both immediately stood up in shock, with the man trying to cover his nakedness with the blanket, while being questioned if he did not know Afia was a married woman. The Randy lover of Schwarznegger was gripped with fear, as her husband threatened to empty the contents of a bottle he claims is acid on him, meant to disfigure his face.
He later struggled with him for a while and made his way to the door in only his black boxer shorts leaving his clothes behind.
