A major turning point in the relationship was reached when Jamaican Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel proposed to his longtime girlfriend Sidem Öztürk.
In a hotel room, Kartel stunned Öztürk by presenting him with an engagement ring, solidifying their unconventional romance. Kartel flashed the engagement ring to his followers to indicate his happiness prior to the proposal. Vybz Kartel considered his connection with Sidem and declared her to be his wife in an Instagram video.
He replied, “You were there when I needed you most and I’ll never leave you, baby,” expressing his sincere gratitude for Öztürk’s unwavering support during his emotional and legal difficulties.
Kartel added, “We laughed together, we cried together, and now we celebrate together,” recalling how her calls and visits kept him grounded during his incarceration. I pray to God that we will be together for as long as I live because you are both my best friend and my companion. “I love you, baby.” “Kartel wrote.”
After Öztürk acknowledged that she went to considerable measures to contact him by locating his social media accounts, she and Kartel first became acquainted in 2015.
She was attracted to Kartel because of his charm in her life as well as his music. She said, “I found him very handsome… an obsession,” calling him her “perfect match.”
The couple’s love has lasted despite Kartel’s 13 years in prison, and an engagement ring now represents their relationship and affection for one another. Together, they look to the future.
