Former Ghanaian international ,Abedi Ayew ‘Pele’ visited Ghana’s U-17 women’s team ,the Black Maidens at their camp base in Prampram as they prepare to participate in the upcoming WAFU B U17 Girls Cup zonal block tournament.
Abedi Pele, was impressed with the team’s preparation and charged the young players to remain focused, disciplined, and diligent in developing their football careers as well as emerging victorious with the trophy.
The Black Maidens have been engaging in friendly games as part of their preparations, recently beating Rootz Sistaz FC 5-1 and 2-0 in two separate fixtures.
Next up for the Black Maidens is a date with FC Epiphany Warriors tomorrow Friday, December 6, at the GFA Technical Center in Prampram. The Black Maidens are pitched in Group A of the upcoming WAFU B U-17 Girl’s Cup championship alongside Burkina Faso and Benin.
Meanwhile, the tournament will run from December 12 to December 26,2024 at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
