Ghana Premier League match week 10 build up : Hearts of Oak vs Vision FC
Hearts of Oak will lock horns against Vision FC tonight at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon. The Phobians head into this fixture with high expectation following a well deserved 2-0 win over former league champions Medeama in their last match, a result that restored some belief in their camp following an inconsistent start to their campaign.
Vision FC after gaining promotion to the Ghana Premier League, are gearing up for their first-ever top-flight meeting with Hearts of Oak, and it promises to be an exciting clash as the two teams aim to establish supremacy in Accra.
Hearts of Oak’s recent record shows a mixed run of form, with three wins, three draws, and three defeats in their nine league fixtures. Their struggles with consistency has been a worrying factor ,yet the quality they possess in their ranks suggests they are capable of doing everything possible to nail a win against Vision FC.
Vision FC, on the other hand, march into tonight’s crunch derby off the back of a draw against Aduana Stars in week 9 .So far Nana Kweku Agyemang and his boys have recorded two wins, two defeats, and five draws from nine games, showing a tendency for tight, competitive encounters. While they are a new team in the top flight, they’ve been impressive at times, though their attack hasn’t found the back of the net as often as they might hope. Vision FC have scored six goals but conceded seven in their Premier League run so far.
Both teams will be aiming to have a go at each other and claim victory in this historic first clash , with Hearts likely to hold a slight advantage given their experience and quality in the top flight .
However, Vision FC won’t be push overs on the night as they’re poised to prove their prowess on the green rectangle and will look to make things stiffer for their more established rivals in a matchup that promises excitement and rivalry on a Friday night under the flood lights in Ghana’s premier university with football fans set to turn up to enjoy delectable football brewed in Ghana.
