Ghana’s U-17 Women’s national side , the Black Maidens, have been pitched in Group A of the upcoming WAFU Zone B U17 Girls Cup together with Benin and Burkina Faso .
The draw came off at the WAFU B headquarters in Cote D’Ivoire. The Black Maidens are looking to make a comeback after a few years of inactivity and use this tournament to fine tune for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifiers.
The team has been in camp for the past five weeks in Bibiani gearing up for the zonal block tournament which will be played from December 12 to December 26 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
