Ghana’s Black Stars hope to keep their 2025 AFCON qualification dream alive

Ghana’s Black Stars trainer, Otto Addo will name his 25 man squad on Friday, November 8 for the last two AFCON qualifying games against Niger and Angola. Reports say , his call up will feature few outstanding players from the Ghana Premier League accompanied with some regular faces to add new energy and depth to the set-up which will prove decisive in these key games.

Facing a precarious situation of missing out on a ticket to the 2025 AFCON in Morocco for the first time in 2 decades the Black Stars will have to go all out in order to keep their dreams of qualifying alive.

The Black Stars’ expedition through the qualifiers has hit a snag so far after four matches, they sit 3rd in Group F with just two points, having drawn two games and suffered two losses. Ghana’s last two Group F clashes are against Angola on November 15 and Niger on November 18.
