HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT
ARTICLE 1
When people think of workplace safety, physical hazards immediately comes to mind. What are physical hazards? They are common source of injuries in organizations thus, they are agents or factors that can cause harm once you come into contact with them. Physical hazards include noise , vibration , vibration , heights and many more. Safety plays a huge relevance in the lives of workers. The safety of workers somewhat influences productivity because where there is an alarming record of injuries and accidents there will be absenteeism hence, low productivity
Ideally, for an environment to be safe we need to eliminate all hazards and mitigate risks. Facts about hazards are, there will always be a hidden or insignificant hazard at the work space which is why we have to be vigilant. There is no perfect organization but there is a trying one.
Whether you are an employee, a manager or a business owner, there is one common goal thus, to create a safe work space. With the rapid growth in technology coupled with human negligence (unsafe acts) and unsafe conditions employers’ attention is more focused on a secured and safe work space as well as a safe work culture. Culture is complicated and it has a major impact on how one behaves. It’s everywhere and the workplace is no exception. A healthy workplace culture can motivate safety and help the company reach its safety objectives. But a dysfunctional work culture? It’s an accumulating disaster.
A healthy and safe workplace is essential to the wellbeing of workers. Safety is an everyday activity which one should be deliberate about. There is no time out or break on safety issues because it involves human lives , properties and company reputation.
Safety must always remain a priority.

Welcome Sir. More information on health and safety will be shared.
Nice piece however I want to be educated as to whether Workplace Safety is only limited to the physicalities you touched on or it stretches beyond that.
