The La Traditional Council (LTC) has announced a ban on noise-making following the commencement of the annual Homowo festival in the Greater Accra Region.
The ban according to the Council will come into force from August 5-30, 2024.
A statement issued by the Council reminded the churches, hotels, eateries, and other businesses within the La Traditional Area to take note and strictly adhere to the guidelines during the period.
The Council warned that offenders will be dealt with accordingly.
Affected areas include Cantonments, Shiashi, Labone, La township, Oyarifa, Burma Camp, Frafraha, Adentan, Oyarifa etc.
