I ask God for wisdom on How to Respond to Taunts from Business People. Stonebwoy
Ghanaian reggae/dancehall performer Stonebwoy has expressed his worries about unfavorable remarks made about him by other musicians and business insiders.
In an interview with McBrown on Onua Showtime on November 3, the “Overlord” crooner disclosed that he typically prays for guidance from God on how to handle such circumstances.
According to Stonebwoy, he looks to God for guidance on when to reply to these unfavorable remarks.
“I rely on my experience to handle attacks.” I don’t think God made us to be accustomed to insults in this life, therefore it’s not something we should become used to. For myself, I ask God to give me the discernment to know when to speak and when to be quiet. It’s not simple,” he said, “so I have to know when to give him rope, when to spank, and when to treat my wounds.”
According to the two-time VGMA Artiste of the Year, “everyone pelts stones to pluck a ripe fruit.”
“I see people talking about me every morning when I wake up. One man has even disparaged me this morning, but you must ignore that and concentrate on other things,” Stonebwoy continued.
