Morocco calls Africa To Discover the profitable opportunities emerging tourism gem at the Morocco Showcase Summit 2024.

The inaugural Morocco Showcase Summit: Tourism, Hospitality, Invest is scheduled for November 19-20 at the Marriott Hotel in Casablanca, highlighting the attractive prospects for Arabian investors to broaden their portfolios and take advantage of Morocco’s flourishing hospitality sector.

This summit, conducted in both English and French, is a joint effort by the Société Marocaine d’Ingénierie Touristique (SMIT) and API Events, and aims to emphasize Morocco’s significant potential as a prime investment location for hospitality brands and investors.

Omar Benkabbou, Head of Advisory & Transaction Morocco at CBRE, stated, “Morocco’s distinctive combination of traditional charm and modern infrastructure positions it as an outstanding destination for Arabian investments in the tourism and hospitality industries.”

The initiatives of SMIT and the Morocco Showcase Summit are particularly focused on attracting investments from Gulf states and other Arabian countries. Morocco has long been a favored destination for tourists from the Arabian Peninsula and remains a compelling option for Arabian investors due to several factors, including its geographic closeness, cultural connections, and economic prospects in sectors like tourism, real estate, agriculture, and renewable energy.

The excitement generated by significant events such as the 2030 FIFA World Cup further enhances Morocco’s allure, attracting global visitors, increasing the demand for high-quality hospitality services, and drawing the attention of innovative investors.

With the growth of opportunities, this crucial gathering will delve into the expanding and varied investment possibilities within the country’s hospitality industry. The summit will convene international investors, developers, financiers, and leaders in hospitality to present Morocco’s progressive funding schemes, investment incentives, and strategic infrastructure opportunities that support tourism growth.

Erwan Garnier, Senior Director of Development for Africa at Radisson Hotels, remarked, “The summit will create a customized investment landscape for Gulf states, concentrating on culturally relevant sectors, showcasing mutually advantageous economic opportunities, and emphasizing Morocco’s role as a key trade and tourism center.”

The strategic approach of SMIT to attract and encourage hospitality investments is in line with the mutual interests, economic aspirations, renewable energy initiatives, agri-tech prospects, and cultural links that Morocco shares with the Arabian region. Additionally, the summit will spotlight opportunities for hotel brands and investors to launch operations in Morocco’s vibrant hospitality landscape, which holds tremendous potential.
