Preview of Real Madrid Vs AC Milan

With 22 European titles between them Real Madrid and AC Milan will cross-swords on the green rectangle tonight to battle it out in their UEFA Champions League night 4 clash at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

The two teams haven’t been at their best on the home and away front this season marrying it with where they believe a club of their stature should be this term.

Carlo Ancelotti ‘s side march into tonight’s clash after tasting a 4-0 defeat at the hands of arch-nemesis Barcelona in La Liga, but have had an opportunity to recuperate after their league game against Valencia was postponed due to harsh weather conditions in Spain last week. Real Madrid have a slight advantage over their opponents in the Champions League this season having won two out of their 3 games this season.

More so,Carlo Ancelotti is still working out his best way to integrate Kylian Mbappe upfront and get his shaky backline on track.

Meanwhile,AC Milan struggles to register a slender 1-0 win over AC Monza last weekend in Serie A and are sitting 7th in the league standings as well as occupying 25th place in the Champions League log.

Players to keep eyes on

With a home turf advantage at the Bernabeu all eyes will be glued on Vinicius Paixao Jr who is expected to step up after missing out on the Ballon d’Or last week Monday. Known for his abilities to turn a game on its head the Brazilian rose to the occasion as he registered a hat-trick to help his side crawled from two goals down to beat Bvb Dortmund 5-2 at the Bernabeu last time out as Los Blancos showed their elite mentality prowess.

AC Milan will fall on American superstar, Christian Pulisic who remains in rich form having netted in seven of his side’s 14 league and European matches thus far. Pulisic scored the fastest goal in this season’s Champions League against Liverpool at the San Siro.

Referee for tonight’s game

Slovenian referee ,Slavko Vincic will be the center man for tonight’s crunch encounter at the Bernabeu.

This will be the second time this year Vincic will officiate a game involving Real Madrid having arbitrated their Champions League final win over Borussia Dortmund at the Wembley stadium some months ago.

Kick off is at 8 pm
