Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, the founder and head of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, has voiced concerns about the pervasive usage of phones in churches.

During a recent interview on Accra’s OKAY FM, Prophet Kumchacha voiced his dismay over the declining use of actual Bibles among congregations in favor of smartphones. He claims that this trend has unintentionally made it easier for people to access obscene content.
He emphasized the importance of watchfulness and discernment among worshippers and warned them against giving in to the lure of partaking in activities that are incompatible with the sacredness of the church setting.
“People no longer bring Bibles to church,” he remarked. Their phones are all that they carry with them. You’ll be horrified to see that folks are viewing porn on their phones when you’re asking for quotes.” Kumchacha
