The Chat: We sometimes beg for food during our trips – Wanderlust Ghana discloses
The Ghanaian Intrepid group of fun-loving adventurers and thrill-seekers Wanderlust Ghana has disclosed some of the challenges they encounter during their expeditions.
In 2023, Wanderlust Ghana did 10,000 kilometres from Accra through many African countries to London in the United Kingdom through other European countries.
The group is set to embark on an enchanting 30,000-kilometer journey, spanning three months and covering 30 countries from Monday, September 30, 2024.
The journey will take them across diverse terrains, from the deserts of Mauritania to the skyscrapers of Dubai, and eventually down to the southern tip of Africa in Cape Town.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on The Chat on Channel One TV, Wanderlust Ghana while revealing some of the challenges they face while on their trips said they sometimes beg for food.
“We don’t get time to eat… Whatever you see is what you eat…We sometimes beg for food… We even begged for bread in Morroco” They said.
“Our plan for this year’s trip, we will travel with just 6 people using three vehicles for safety reasons. Each car will carry two persons, where one will monitor the radio while the other person drives, and they will interchange.”
Some of the members to embark on this year’s trip include Kwabena Peprah, Kofi Peprah and Kwame Peprah. The Peprah brothers are into real estate in Ghana. They are owners of Phoenix Realty.
They have put up apartments like Ritz Square at Ritz Junction, Rocky’s Nest at Adenta West, and the Blay Apartments at Oyarifa all in the Greater Accra Region.
