Use the power of the media to promote tourism, the Deputy Minister of Tourism tells Ghanaians.

Mark Okraku-Mantey, the deputy minister of tourism, arts, and culture, has advised Ghanaians to use the media to their advantage in order to grow the country’s tourism industry.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the unrealized potential of media as a driver of Ghana’s tourism industry’s expansion during a Daybreak Hitz conversation with host Andy Dosty.

He encouraged Ghanaians to actively engage in promoting the nation’s dynamic culture and attractions through a variety of media outlets.

The Minister’s comments were made at a pivotal moment as the travel and tourism sector looks for creative ways to bounce back and prosper after the pandemic.

He emphasized that every person has the power to change how people view Ghana, and encouraged people to share their stories and the splendor of the country’s traditions and landscapes with the world , adding that each individual can contribute in their own small manner by utilizing the creative arts and private sectors to highlight Ghana’s distinctive offerings.
